Level Two is a mid-level BRMT course that focuses on how active reflexes affect our mood and cognition. We will discuss the role of the limbic system and the effects of BRMT on emotional regulation, anxiety and stress, as well as how BRMT can be used to help children with autism. Reflex development is closely linked with our experiences and reflected in our body and emotions. This course explains how the simple BRMT movements can transform emotional well-being.
Topics included in this course include:
The Limbic System (a.k.a. The Mammalian Brain)
Hypertonic and hypotonic muscle tone corrections
Recognize behaviors caused by the stress reflexes
Differentiate between the Moro, Fear Paralysis, and Tendon Guard reflexes
Testing for and integrating the following reflexes:
3 Balance Procedures
Identifying when emotional reactions may be due to gluten or casein intolerance.
BRMT Level Two was accepted by ceii (Continuing Education Institute of IL in cooperation with the University of IL College of Medicine and College of Education) recognized by the NY State Education Department State Board for Physical Therapy as an approved provider of CEUS for PTs and PTAs, the Minnesota Board of Physical Therapy and the Alaska Board of Physical Therapy for continuing education credits.
