Exceptional Children Level One is an introductory course that covers 7 primitive reflexes, including the 6 from BRMT Level One plus the Asymmetric Tonic Neck Reflex. Participants will learn how to use BRMT to improve motor, emotional, and cognitive functions in children, especially those with special needs. This course provides valuable information on healing Autism Spectrum Disorder, and ADD/ADHD, and also provides games and activities that can be used to integrate reflexes with kids. The focus is on using activities to gain compliance at home and the ability to use the BRMT work in families, groups of children on in schools where teachers see the need to improve behavior and cognitive function affected by active reflexes but don’t have time to work individually with children. There are no prior course requirements.
Exceptional Children Levels One and Two were accepted by the Minnesota Board of Physical Therapy and the Alaska Board of Physical Therapy for continuing education credits.
