First priority for enrollment will be given to POST employees, and participants outside of POST will be placed on a wait list until a time yet to be determined. If POST does not have 40 participants, those on the wait list will be offered a spot in the class.
Level One is a comprehensive introduction to BRMT. Throughout the course, students will learn how to test for active reflexes as well as integrate them. We will learn how the reflexes are related to the brain stem, cerebellum, and basal ganglia.
BRMT is a primitive reflex integration program that stimulates brain connections for:
• Increased impulse control and attention
• Improved balance, coordination and stamina
• Addresses speech, learning and developmental delays
For people of any age with challenges including: ADD/ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, CP, Autism Spectrum Disorders, insomnia, Reactive Attachment Disorder, PTSD, anxiety, stress, depression, social/ emotional/ sensory/ behavioral challenges, chronic pain or improper muscle tone, and trauma.
BRMT can also be effective with challenges affecting the elderly population including fixations, chronic pain, vision and balance.
Learn the basics of BRMT: how movements can be used to assist in regulating muscle tone and stimulating the connections between parts of the brain, especially as they relate to impulse control and attention.

Tonic Labyrinthine Reflex
Symmetrical tonic Neck Reflex
Spinal Galant Reflex
Movements taught in this class:
Passive movements – to introduce the reflex movement pattern and for those who cannot physically do these for themselves.
Active movements – in a lying position, on hands and knees or kneeling position.
Isometric Integration – The use of light pressure in the reflex position.
